The proven male butter is still for sale, though the last days for shipping are upon us. Winter comes early to the cities by the Canadian border, and a good number of our leaves have dropped already.
The other breeders are doing well, and all those surprise eggs we got from Casper, Oakie, and Rougale began to mold about half way through incubation. We were skeptical about any of them being fertile since we didn't pair the girls with any males, though the two eggs Casper dropped did have veins in them. Now we are just getting our girls healthy again and looking forward to another year. We won't be breeding anyone until half or more of the 2015 clutch is sold to keep from flooding the already flooded corn snake market. We are excited for pairing Rougale and Apollo at some point in the future.
Our old boy Ares is getting cranky with age, but otherwise is still doing well. He has not had any of his normal breathing problems in the summer and we hope he continues doing well through winter. Apart form that there is not much to update. So thank you for staying with us through the years and reading our few updates. Please keep an eye out for the 2015 clutch's advertisements on facebook! We know there were people interesting in some of the tessera corns but they held back because they had not been sexed yet. Now's the time to get them!
